Holistic Therapies Admissions
The David Lawrence Center offers a number of Holistic Therapy programs to supplement our mental health treatment offerings. Through art therapy, horse therapy, and other types of therapy, we are able to provide our clients with an ability to relieve stress, express themselves, and restore their lives.
Art Therapy

Art Therapy allows children and adolescent clients of the David Lawrence Center to utilize art to explore their feelings, fears, and hopes. Through the creative process of artwork, children learn how to handle conflicts, resolve problems, and seek a healthy stress reliever.
Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy
Also known as “Horse Therapy,” Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy is offered by the David Lawrence Center in conjunction with the Naples Equestrian Challenge. Select children in any of our community-based treatment programs are able to participate in exercises with horses that will allow them to relieve stress and develop communication, relationship-building, and self-reflection skills.

Music Therapy

Music Therapy is often utilized by therapists to help children tune into their feelings, thoughts, hopes, fears, and more while listening to therapeutic music. While listening to this tranquil music, clients explore their feelings and write them on paper for reflection.
Pet Therapy
Pet Therapy allows youth clients of the David Lawrence Center to interact with certified therapy dogs. Activities include personal time with the animal, group socialization, or outdoor play. Through these activities, clients are able to manage levels of anxiety while building relationship, communication, and self-expression skills.
