Naples, Fl – The David Lawrence Center, Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit mental health and substance abuse treatment facility serving children, adults and families, is pleased to announce the David Lawrence Center Young Executives will host a Wish List Friendraiser on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Bar Tulia located at 462 Fifth Avenue South in Naples from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Guests are invited to show their support for the David Lawrence Center and enjoy one free drink special, extended happy hour pricing and good company. Admission is free with a donation of items from their wish list to benefit individuals in crisis. These items include newly purchased plain adult size t-shirts, non-hooded sweatshirts, sweatpants, flip flops, socks and underwear/boxers in a variety of sizes. Donations of travel size toiletries are also appreciated. Guests also have the option of making a donation at the door toward the purchase of these much needed items.
Crisis Stabilization Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the emergency mental health and substance abuse needs of children, adolescents and adults. Many people who present to the Crisis Unit in a psychiatric crisis come with only the clothes on their backs yet stay for days, weeks and sometimes months. Clothing and toiletry donations are always needed and welcome. This wish list event will help replenish the supply.
This casual, friendraising event is a great opportunity to relax and unwind with like-minded, fellow young professionals with a passion for supporting mental health.
