David Lawrence Center Receives $10,000 Grant for Crossroads Addiction Recovery Wellness Services

Naples, Fl – David Lawrence Center, Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit mental health and addiction recovery treatment center serving children, adults and families, is pleased to announce it has received a $10,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Collier County to support the Crossroads adult addiction recovery wellness program.

The David Lawrence Center Crossroads program offers a full continuum of abstinence-oriented, holistic services for adults with a substance use disorder including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and ongoing support services. Crossroads wellness services include tobacco cessation support, art therapy, equine-facilitated psychotherapy, nutrition education, meditation and fitness training, which are not funded by insurance.

David Lawrence Center wellness services are complementary and are designed to work alongside traditional treatments to increase the client’s chances of achieving and maintaining sobriety by integrating the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of participants. The goals of these services are to improve quality of life, provide tools for relapse prevention and stress management, and promote life-lasting wellness. The grant funds will be used to continue and expand the Crossroads wellness program to individuals residing in the inpatient detoxification and residential treatment programs.
