DAVID LAWRENCE CENTER PROMOTES JOHN BREAULT TO QUALITY IMPROVEMENT AND ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE DIRECTOR

Naples, Fl – The David Lawrence Centers, Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit mental health and substance use treatment facility serving children, adults and families, is pleased to announce the promotion of John Breault to Quality Improvement and Organizational Performance Director. In his new position, Breault will serve as a member of the senior management team and be responsible for supporting the development and execution of quality assurance measurements and audits. He will also assist in enhancing clinical processes by coordinating and engaging in activities that promote implementation of evidence based practices.

Breault began his career at the David Lawrence Centers in 2011 as a Resource Coordinator providing resource management and discharge planning for children and adults on the Crisis Stabilization Unit. He was quickly promoted to Clinical Supervisor in Emergency Services where he managed the day to day operations of Collier County’s only Baker Act Receiving Facility. In 2014, Breault was promoted once again to the Customer Service Administrator where he was responsible for ensuring a superior experience agency wide for both clients and staff members.

Prior to joining David Lawrence Centers, he most recently served as a Program Director with Boys and Girls Club in Rhode Island. In addition to his leadership and management experience, he has extensive clinical experience providing psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, case management, crisis support and training services for children and adults in residential and outpatient treatment settings for both not-for-profit and private practice businesses.

Breault obtained his bachelor of arts degree in geography from Colgate University in New York and went on to pursue his master of arts degree in rehabilitation counseling from Salve Regina University in Rhode Island. He is a certified Mental Health First Aid trainer in both the adult and youth programs.

Breault is active in the community and currently serves as a board member for David Lawrence Centers Young Executives. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Collier GAIN Class of 2014 and a member of the Leadership Collier Alumni Association.
