David Lawrence Centers Installs New Board Officers

Naples, FL – David Lawrence Centers, Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit mental health and addiction recovery treatment center serving children, adults and families, is pleased to announce the installation of the following new officers of the Board of Directors. 

William O’Neill, Esq., a retired attorney who practiced law for 36 years in Connecticut and Florida, will serve as Chairman. O’Neill has been involved in a volunteer leadership capacity with David Lawrence Centers and Foundation for more than 8 years. He originally joined the David Lawrence Foundation Board of Trustees in 2012 and then the Center Board of Directors in 2013. During that time, he served in a variety of executive positions including Secretary, Chair of the Development Committee, Co-Chair of the 2016 Annual Gala and Chairman of the Board. He also served on the 2013 Executive Search Committee. Currently, he is a member of the Strategic Planning Committee, Finance and Audit Committee, Clinical Operations Committee and Chair of the Development Committee. 

In addition to his service to DLC, O’Neill served as Chair of the United Arts Council Board of Directors, Chair for the Neighborhood Health Clinic Endowment Campaign, and Chairman of the Economic Development Council of Collier County Board of Directors. He was celebrated as a 25 Under of 50 by Naples Daily News in 2017. 

Russell Budd, the founding partner of PBS Contractors and Wall Systems Contractors, will serve as Vice Chairman. Budd is a Florida certified general contractor and licensed real estate broker. He joined the DLC Board of Directors in 2016. He along, with his wife, served as the Sound Minds Mental Health Symposium co-chairs in 2016. He is currently a member of the Clinical Operations Committee, Strategic Planning Committee and the Chair of the Governance and Nominating Committee. 

Budd also currently serves as a Board Member for the National Alliance on Mental Illness of Collier County, the Collier County 100 Club, Junior Achievement of SW Florida and Drug Free Collier. He previously served as a board member for Seacrest Country Day School and Bank of Florida Southwest. Budd was past chairman of the Collier County Planning Commission and the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, as well as a past President of the Collier Building Industry Association. He was celebrated as a Man of Distinction by the Education Foundation of Collier County in 2014 and as a 25 Under of 50 by Naples Daily News in 2017.  

Pablo X. Veintimilla, Market President of Centennial Bank for Southwest Florida, will serve as Treasurer. Veintimilla has been a Board Member since 2007 and previously served as Vice President, President, Secretary and Treasurer. He currently serves as Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee and Endowment and Investment Committee.  

Veintimilla has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting in both the for-profit and not-for-profit industries including leadership posts at several local financial institutions and as Chief Financial Officer at the Naples Philharmonic now known as Artis-Naples. He is a graduate of Leadership Collier and also currently serves on the finance and investment committees of the Immokalee Foundation and serves on the Board of the Lee Memorial Health System Foundation. 

Robert P. Magrann, a retired senior executive with extensive experience in the areas of sales, marketing and strategic planning, will serve as Secretary. He most recently served as the Executive Vice President of Del Monte Foods and prior to that held leadership positions at Tetley, Nabisco, Borden, and others.   

Magrann joined the DLC Board in 2016. He currently serves as a member of the Clinical Operations Committee, Development Committee and Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee. He previously served on the Board of Directors of St. Joseph’s University Academy of Food Marketing, St. Joseph’s University Food Marketing Education Foundation and Medicore, Inc. After relocating to Naples, he has most recently served as the President and CEO of the Board of Directors at Quail Creek Country Club.
