Naples, Fl – The David Lawrence Centers, Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit mental health and substance use treatment facility serving children, adults and families, is pleased to announce the addition of Denise Dutchak, M.D. as a Staff Psychiatrist in Children’s Medical Services. Dr. Dutchak is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in adult, child and adolescent psychiatry. She is also board certified by the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture in medical acupuncture.

Dr. Dutchak received her Bachelor of Science in zoology from the University of Michigan and her Master of Science in biology from Oakland University. Dr. Dutchak earned her doctor of medicine from Wayne State School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan and went on to complete her internship, residency and fellowship training at the University of Michigan Medical Center.

Dr. Dutchak has nearly 25 years of experience in psychiatric medicine. Prior to joining the David Lawrence Centers medical team, Dr. Dutchak worked as a Staff Psychiatrist at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers, Florida. In addition to inpatient hospital treatment settings, she has experience working in outpatient private practice and community mental health centers. She also previously served as an adjunct professor and teaching assistant.

Dr. Dutchak is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, American Psychiatric Association, American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law, and American Academy of Medical Acupuncture.
