DLC Tree of Hope Lighting
David Lawrence Center
6075 Bathey Lane
David Lawrence Center recently held its very first Tree of Hope lighting around our banyan tree, and it was a wonderful celebration of community, hope, and healing.
Enormous and sprawling, the banyan tree on the main DLC campus was planted by staff and clients in the late 1980s. Today, it serves as DLC’s Tree of Hope, representative of how one small seed planted in the right place can grow into a beautiful and strong centerpiece – unshakable even in the fiercest of storms. The roots holding up the limbs are like friends, family, and community, lifting one another up with hope.
How to become a DLC Light of Hope
You can become a DLC Light of Hope with a minimum donation of $100.
As a Light of Hope, you are demonstrating your advocacy for our mission. Your support will be symbolized with lights on our banyan tree, the centerpiece of our campus. When illuminated, our Tree of Hope will showcase how a strong community of supporters such as yourself is essential to brightening the futures of those facing mental health and addiction challenges.
As a Light of Hope you will also be invited to join The Center Society – DLC’s newly launched donor recognition program. Additionally, you will be recognized at the event and in David Lawrence Center’s annual report as a Light of Hope.
