Recovery Month Awards Ceremony Celebrates Voices in Recovery

This September marked the 23rd annual National Recovery Month observance which is designed to celebrate the effectiveness of treatment services and the reality of recovery. This year’s national theme, “Join the Voices for Recovery: It’s Worth It,” emphasized that while the road to recovery may be difficult, the benefits of preventing and overcoming mental and/or substance use disorders are significant and valuable to individuals, families and communities.

David Lawrence Centers celebrated six individuals and organizations for their outstanding contributions to support those in recovery at the Annual Recovery Month Awards Ceremony “Celebrating Voices of Recovery” held last month.
