Child’s Path Preschool Wins Naples Daily News Reader’s Choice Awards

Naples Daily News handed out awards to Southwest Florida’s best of the best and this year, the David Lawrence Center’s program won the Choice Star Award for best child care.

Each year, the Naples Daily News asks its readers to vote in 122 categories ranging from best butcher shop to best car wash. This year, more than 300,000 votes were cast by 3,004 users who logged in online to let their voices be heard.

Naples Daily News presented the 244 awards in front of an audience of roughly 500 people, representing close to 200 businesses at the Philharmonic Center for the Arts.

Two awards are given in each category. The Southwest Florida Choice Champion awards are bestowed on the businesses that received the most votes. The Southwest Florida Choice Star is awarded to the one that received the second most.

Karen Pattison, Child’s Path Program Director, states, “We are extremely proud of this honor and appreciate the many parents who voted for us. Watching the kids grow and flourish as they prepare for kindergarten is the most rewarding part of our jobs. We have the best, dedicated staff in town and they all deserve this honor for always going above and beyond for our children.”

Child’s Path Preschool is a 5 day-a-week preschool program owned and operated by the David Lawrence Centers . Child’s Path provides kindergarten readiness and teaches age appropriate social skills, behavioral tools and prevention activities to children ages 1-5 years old.
