Benefits

401K

Staff members are eligible for this excellent plan the first of the month following 60 days of employment. After one year of service, a required information meeting is provided, and David Lawrence Centers will match your contribution dollar for dollar as follows:

  • 1-5 years = 5%
  • 6-10 years = 6%
  • 10+ years = 7%

INSURANCE

Health, dental, prescription (including on-site pharmacy), vision, life, and AD&D are provided for full-time staff who work 30 hours per week. Available on the first of the month after 60 days of employment.

PAID LEAVE AND HOLIDAYS

Regular employees who work 20 hours per week or more receive paid leave on a pro-rated basis to use after six months of continuous employment. Leave provided during the first calendar year of employment may be carried over to the following year. After the first calendar year of employment, employees may carry over a maximum of one week of paid leave from June to July and December to January. Click here to find out more about Benefits Summary to learn more about annual leave balances.

All regular employees scheduled to work 20 hours or more will receive eight paid holidays per year (pro-rated for part-time). In addition to the eight (8) paid holidays, eligible employees will receive two (2) “floating” holidays. One day will be issued on January 1st and one day will be issued on July 1st.

BANKING SERVICES

David Lawrence Centers has partnered with a select group of local institutions to accommodate direct deposit on biweekly pay dates and provide favorable rates for numerous affordable loan products and savings accounts.

ALTERNATIVE WORK SCHEDULES

Most non-residential programs close at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Non-mandatory employees may request the following alternative work schedules:

  • 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Participation in the alternative work schedule program is at the discretion of the direct supervisor and service director and must not impede delivery of service or program coverage.
