Naples, FL – The David Lawrence Center, Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit mental health and substance abuse treatment facility serving children, adults and families, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Warnken as Chief Planning and Business Development Officer. In this newly created executive management position, Warnken will work hand in hand with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operations Officer and Chief Financial Officer to further the Center’s strategic initiatives to expand and enhance treatment services.

Warnken comes to the David Lawrence Center with extensive leadership experience in healthcare administration and not-for-profit executive management. Warnken most recently served as Executive Vice President of the United Way of Collier County. Prior to that, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of the NCH Healthcare System, Chief Executive Officer of DSI Laboratories, and Chief Financial Officer of Brandywine Hospital and Trauma Center in Pennsylvania.

Warnken earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business with a major in accounting from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Warnken’s community involvement includes currently serving as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce. He formerly served on the Board of Directors of the David Lawrence Center where he served on the Finance Committee; Economic Development Council of Collier County where he served as Vice President and the Physician Led Access Network (PLAN). Warnken is a graduate of the Leadership Collier Class of 2001 and Leadership Lee Class of 1999. In 2015, he was honored by the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce with the Chamber Volunteer of the Year Award.
