DAVID LAWRENCE CENTER YOUNG EXECUTIVES CHAIR ALLISON DURIAN JOINS DAVID LAWRENCE CENTER BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Naples, Fl – David Lawrence Centers, Collier County’s only comprehensive, not-for-profit mental health and substance use treatment facility serving children, adults and families, is pleased to announce the appointment of Allison Durian to the Board of Directors. She will serve a three year term.

Durian is the Associate Director of the Naples Winter Wine Festival, one of the most successful charity wine auctions in the nation that brings many of the world’s finest vintners and chefs together with wine collectors and philanthropists to raise money for the Naples Children & Education Foundation. Since it started in 2001, the Naples Winter Wine Festival has raised more than $146 million dollars for the benefit of at risk children including those who receive services at David Lawrence Centers .

Durian is the current Chair and a founding member of the David Lawrence Centers Young Executives, a group of younger generation mental health and substance use advocates whose primary goal is to spread awareness throughout the younger demographic of Southwest Florida by hosting fundraising and social events. Durian’s community service also includes affiliation with Naples Junior Woman’s Club, where she holds leadership positions, Girls on the Run of Collier County, Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce Emerging Leaders Council and Wellfit Girls.

Durian is also a 2014 graduate of the Leadership Collier Foundation GAIN program. Durian attended Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania, where she obtained her Bachelor of Art degree in Communication Arts.

Durian states, “I am proud to be an advocate for the David Lawrence Centers within this community and my peer group. The human issues and challenges that the Center addresses are close and personal to me. I enjoy sharing the positive work, success stories and proud accomplishments.”
