Client Handbook
The David Lawrence Center provides free mental health and substance abuse evaluation and assessment services for youth ages 7-17 who have been courted ordered or referred by the Department of Juvenile Justice through David Lawrence Center's Juvenile Assessment Services. Juvenile Assessment Services also provides prevention and intervention services for children and their families. Children may be referred by parents, schools, law enforcement or other parties. Children who can benefit from these services may be truant, unmanageable, possible substance abusers, or at-risk for other reasons.

The following Juvenile Assessment Services are provided through the Assessment Center to at-risk youth in Collier County:
